Aktiv Kapital Debt Collection Agency and the Truth About Your Debt

Aktiv Kapital Debt Collection Agency is a debt purchasing firm that has bought the debt from the original creditor, often a bank (or in some cases an intermediary or third party) for a tiny percentage of the original value and is trying to get the full sum of the original account from you.

Aktiv Kapital Debt Collection Agency will use all sorts of nasty methods to get money out of you in order to profit from your ignorance of the law. You may already have experienced bad dealings with them. They may phone you when they know it is inconvenient for you and do so several times every day. They may write official-appearing sternly worded letters or cards threatening to 'send the boys round' to collect the full amount or take you to court for the full amount. Other tactics may include attempting to make a charging order on your home or in some way bring about your destitution.

So ask Aktiv Kapital Debt Collection Agency for a copy of the original contract when you took out your loan or credit card.

More Data On Aktiv Kapital Debt Collection Agency

I am grateful to the excellent Consumer Action Group forum for the following:

I Got a letter from Altiv Kapital for an old Barclays bank account and a outstanding amount of over £500 and I don't remember having any money outstanding as this is from 2001.

And I've never had any contact from Aktiv even though they claim they have had the debt since April 2003 and they Informed me when they purchased the debt (never received that) and have sent this letter to my current address.

Now with a bank account can I still do the CCA request and see what they have? Or would a Subject Access Request be better?

If you have any information that you would like honest people to know about Aktiv Kapital Debt Collection Agency then send us an email in complete confidence and we will try to corroborate it with the clowns involved.
